New Species Approval

General Rules

1. Trainers can "find" only one new species each.

2. Trainers must have participated in two forum battles to be qualified enough to find a New Species.

3. No modifications of existing Pokemon, hybrids or new evolutions. We never know if Nintendo is going to do that themselves, making the 'fake' rather pointless. All Pokémon posted here are to be totally new species.

4. New Pokémon are to be of current types only, no new types. Also they can be of dual type, but no more than that, Dual types must be realistic, something that can work together, no Water/Fire types for example.

5. You will need approval from two approvers, one initial approve, and one agreement before you can use it.

6. An evolution path is allowed as well, but we need to see the path before the group can be approved, including the whole moveset etc.

7. Once a new species is approved here, you must then take it to Celebi's sprite centre for sprite make up, this is so we know what it looks like for reffing purposes.

8. When that is done and everyone is in agreement, you can then go ahead and put it in the team approval thread as one of your party, giving it a nickname, gender, sig move etc.

9. Once a new species is found and approved, they will be put into an archive thread and they can be used by anyone that wishes to use it. These new Pokémon will be sold by Celebi in basic form only. They will evolve in the normal way.

Creation of a Pokemon

1.

Each new Pokémon can have up to 8 level up moves for a baby/basic stage, 9 for stage one and 10 for a stage two

4 Move Tutor moves from FR/ LG may be learned by each Fake.

3 egg moves

15 HM/TM moves for baby/basic stage; 20 for stage one and 25 for stage 2 All moves must make sense and be able to work for the type and stature of the Pokémon

Non-evolving basics will get the same as a stage one poké. 9 level up moves + 20 TM/HM moves

TM/HM moves may be from any series.

2. Obviously if you've given your Pokémon a level up move that is also a TM move, it must appear in the TM list.

3. Two Pokedex entries minimum must be provided (every Pokemon has at least that), but the more the merrier.

4. We need to see their evolution path aswell, if they have one.

5. A drawn picture of the Pokémon will be very helpful if it is possible. It is not mandatory though, but it will help Celebi create the sprite. It will also help in the reffings too.
